Bought this tree and collected it. Got it home and there were broken buys in the box and the tree wouldn't stand up as the rims were also broken off. Not a great start really, so took it back

Somehow I was expecting the pre-lit part of the tree meant that the lights were integral to the tree, however they were separate feature and all the branches were separate and had to be put together individually. However, despite an early disappointment, the finished product is lovely.

As shown on fig.2 of the instructions you need to connect the string light cables once you have fitted the top of the tree in order for them to work. You will need to connect the cable connectors together and ensure they are tightly connected.
