I bought this item about 4-5 weeks ago I’m so pleased I did. I love it definitely keeps me lovely and warm for a 4 point 5 tog.
Last December 2024 I bought a 10.5 double duvet from Habitat and I was very pleased with it so I had no hesitation in buying another of the same make, but this time a 4.5 tog in super rking size. I was very pleased with the quality and it is very comfortable but I personally, found it too warm for the warm summer nights this year. However, even before the request to write a review arrived, I noticed that some of the filling in the end channels had started to come away from the stitching leaving empty patches here and there and a thick wad at the ends. It has to be shaken every day. I think the problem is that the channels are far too wide,. and also it would be better if the they ran from top to bottom rather than side to side.
I had to return this item straight away, the quality of the padding inside the duvet was shocking, parts were all clumped together in some areas of the duvet there was just duvet material.
I bought this duvet as a replacement. I wanted a lightweight lower tog rating for the summer as well as super king size. I am happy with the item but due to the lower tog it is not as fluffy or full as a higher tog might feel. However, it does it's job.
