No, they are not specifically stated to be safe for use under the grill.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Set of 2 Enamel Oven Tray Roaster Set: The enamel is a porcelain coating on a metal base.
Thank you for using Q&A
Hi Sah,
The Habitat Set of 2 Enamel Oven Tray Roaster Set do not include a non stick coating.
Thank you for using Q&A.
These pans are straightforward enamel pans, there is no added non stick surface. However, with a light coating of oil, they are pretty good in preventing food sticking, and any residue that does get left after roasting, washes very easily, my pans still look like new after a lot of use. But I will add that I do often choose to lay a sheet of grease proof paper on the base of
the pans, then the washing up is virtually non existent!
Hi Loz
Our supplier says yes this can be used to roast a whole chicken without it cracking
Thanks for using Q & A
Hi there
Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know yes this roaster set is dishwasher safe
Thanks for using Q & A
Sorry I can’t really answer this question as I have never tried the enamel dishes in the dish washer because they are so easy to hand wash! They come up like new every time, just using a sponge. If there are heavy roasting marks, I allow them to soak for a while and I use one of those silver, non scratch, scour pads, gently, works a treat, they still look new after many uses.
