Elegant and understated lamp

This lamp is minimalist and elegant. I'm using it as a bedside lamp. I've fitted it with a 28w bulb as found a 40w bulb made it a little too bright for the bedroom. The lamp would go just as well in a living or dining room. Good value for money too and I expect I will keep it for years to come.
After checking with our supplier they have advised: I would recommend using an LED bulb (maximum 7W) as not only is this far more efficient than the equivalent brightness of halogen bulb, it will also last for far longer and LED bulbs don’t get nearly as hot as halogen.
Please note that touch and dimmer lamps may not be compatible with energy saving bulbs.
