Very bright clip on light
Nice bright clip on light , but not robust enough to be erect enough on its own but I managed to secure it in a working position by wrapping it round bed headboard, so did the job well enough.

Cheap, But Flawed
I returned the light simply because the 'neck' of the lamp, the flexible member that is attached to the base and supports the lamp, was so flexible it tended to destort under the lamp's weight. It was more like a stiff length of stout electrical flex that I suspect could soften even more in a warm room. The lamp was switched on simply by touching ; an interesting feature that I guessed would stop working with time. I want a cheap lamp with a simple on/off switcg, no bells and whistles. The brightness, though modest, would have been fine for my close inspection work.

Flexibility disappointing
Flexibility was poor. I bought to attach to bed headboard, but obviously not designed for this. I kept it because I needed a light, but had to use a plastic cable tie to keep the ‘flexible’ arm upright! The brightness is good…and have used every night as a reading light…but just disappointed with the limited flexibility.

Bought to use as a bedroom reading light by affixing to the headboard but grip is so tight think it would soon damage fabric of headboard. But no use anyway as stem to support light just flops and gives no support. And range of light is small. Useless. Returned for refund.

"The clip is not metal, it is made from ABS (a thermoplastic polymer). The widest it can open is 4cm."

You can bend and wiggle the fully flexible spine until it shines just where you need it. You can, in conjunction with finding the best location to place it and within reason, move it to any suitable angle you require.
