Add warmth and texture to your floors with this shaggy rug that brings a soft, cosy feel to any room. The dove grey shade works beautifully with modern and traditional interiors, while the long pile creates a plush surface. The 100x60cm size makes it ideal for placing beside your bed, under a coffee table or in front of the sofa.
The spot clean care keeps things simple when spills happen, so you can refresh it quickly without fuss. The grey tone brings a neutral backdrop that pairs easily with other furnishings. The long shaggy pile adds visual depth to living rooms, bedrooms or hallways. To keep this secure on hard floors we also offer rug grips to keep in place, sold separately.

Reminded me more of a bathmat.
It's ok, bought on a sell but wouldn't of paid full price. I will use it for my bedroom but wasn't right for a frontroom for us, looks more like a large bath mat! Not very shaggy looking.

Cream rug.
I bought this rug in the sale, it's been an absolute bargain, so soft and comfortable. It looks very smart and well worth the money even at full price. My little granddaughter loves it.

Hello there,
No, the Habitat Cosy Dove Grey Rug - 60x100cm is not treated with chemical fire retardants.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hello Cath.
Habitat Cosy Ivory Shaggy Rug - 200x290cm
It is a shaggy rug, so general shag rug care still applies — they can be more delicate, and some vacuums struggle depending on pile height and suction strength. Expert guidance recommends avoiding upright vacuums with aggressive brush rolls on shag rugs because they can tug on long fibres.
If your vacuum allows, using a brush‑off mode, adjustable suction, or a hose with an upholstery/brush attachment usually gives better results on shaggy piles.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello Maxy,

The rug has a latex backing, which is suitable for porcelain tiles and provides anti‑skid grip. Just make sure the floor is dry before laying it, and lift the rug once a week to avoid moisture impressions.
