Great Toaster.
Yes the Dualit is expensive, but, having the ability to repair the Dualit makes far more sense to me considering toasters from other brands don't seem to last more than a few weeks in my house.

Good quality toaster. Has a lever for putting toast up and down and doesnt pop up by itself so you really have to watch it to make sure it doesnt burn!

We bought this Dualit Toaster because we were fed up with toasters that break down and you can't get them fixed. This model although expensive is so simple and well designed it should be cheaper in the long run.

Hello Fran. the Dualit 40352 Classic 4 Slice Toaster - Stainless Steel is not capable of making cheese toasties. It is a standard toaster.

Thanks for your question for the Dualit 40352 Classic 4 Slice Toaster - Stainless Steel. The toast will not pop up, but will keep warm inside the toaster. Press down the round Ejector Knob and the toast will pop up ready for serving.
