BOSCH HAND BLENDER
Bought to replace a Philips blender bought from Argos over 10nyrs ago. This Bosch blender looks and feels well made, I did see some blenders a lot cheaper on a on line auction site, to be honest I don't want a cheapo non branded electrical goods , it's Argos for me everytime. I'm pleased with the ordering and 12 months no messing guarantee, ie if it breaks down I can exchange it like for like.

Works well, but leaks.
Container leaks around lid when blending liquid ingredients. I fitted a small elastic band around base of lid, and with downward pressure in use the leakage stopped. I should not have had to do this, but now I'm quite happy with performance.

Hot food produces steam that can pressurise the container when closed and sealed. This will may make the unit crack or release the pressure fast when opening and thus isn't safe to do so.
