I bought this electric blanket to replace a similar one from Slumberdown that had lasted for years. Im very happy with this one. I love that you can heat up the foot area separatly from the body. It has a thick cover so I cant feel the wires. This cover zips off so it can be washed and goes back on after washing without any trouble. Another useful feature is the timer. There's no need to be cold in bed with this product.

Very good blanket very warm, fits well and performs exactly as needed whilst consuming little power. Overheat protection a welcome attribute. Really like that the switch-on default setting is both areas full with 1 hour shut-off.

Keeping warm in winter
I bought the quilt quite a few months ago. Very happy with the warmth and how easy it is to control. Only one 'gripe', which is that the quilt doesn't quite fit equally. The under sheet of the quilt appears slightly smaller than the top, so it has a habit of bunching up at the side. I keep trying to stretch it but it still happens, perhaps I should have bought a fitted blanket? Non the less it works well and heats up quickly, which is what I wanted.

The pictures show 2 controls but when I took it home I realised that it only had 1 controller for the whole blanket not 2 heat zones and controllers as shown in pictures

As a 4ft bed is 120cms x 193 cms and this electric blanket is 120 x 150 , I would think it would be ok. Ive just bought a 4ft bed and am looking for an electric blanket to fit.

There are elastic straps at top and bottom of the blanket to go under the mattress. I installed mine by lifting one corner of the mattress to slide the elastic under, then lifting the opposite corner to slide the other end of the elastic under. Then I could wiggle the elastic until it was lying straight. It does take a certain amount of hand strength, and it may depend on whether your mattress is bendy enough to let you lift one corner. Im 74 and managed it okay.
