Crafted from 200 thread count sustainable, organic cotton, our premium warming mattress protectors have cloud-like softness so you can drift off cocooned in warmth. The natural fibres keep you toasty in the winter but cool in the summer. King size with 2 controls. Warm with cold spot
I've had a few electric blankets over the years and none have been perfect but this is close. It warms up quickly. It only wars up to just below the edge of the pillows so there is a cold spot for me as I like to sit in bed and read so my back is cold. I can't feel any heating wires. The cover sides fits nicely under the mattress. I would like the controller wire to be a little longer. Apart from the nit picking above it is still very warm. It's quite expensive so fingers crossed it will last.

It is so comfortable and luxurious to lie on. Doesn’t take long to heat up although my previous Intelliheat Boutique one had a Fast Heat option to heat up the bed in just 5 minutes.

Fitted and heats quickly
Bought the single heated snowed in mattress protector on recommendation from a friend to heat my single bed quickly when my husband starts snoring! Warms the bed quickly, nothing worse than getting into a cold bed in the middle of the night a week later bought the dual king size version for the marital bed 🤣! I like the fact they are like a fitted sheet and they do warm very quickly! My only gripe is the heated part does not cover the whole top of the matress protector! I like my shoulders warm and I tend to sleep with one hand under the pillow but this area does not heat! I have turned the mattress 180 degrees so now my shoulder and hand is warm but now my feet are cold and also the control switch is in the wrong position so I will have to decide which will be best for me! Other than this the product is much better than most other similar products!

Duel Warmth

While the product features waterproof insulation, this protection only applies when the controller is disconnected and is intended solely for washing purposes.
For safety reasons, the sleeping environment must always remain completely dry to ensure the blanket operates properly and safely.

No, left or right, hot or warm. But they don't heat where the pillow would fit either or go right to the edge where the feet might be. They are good but not as good as they might be or as your question might suggest.
