Auto switch off is very welcome
Dual control settled the argument between me & my partner about the bed being too warm or not. I've only had it for a week. Very comfy.

Not worth the money
Pros: is built in to a fitted mattress cover, so it does not slip. Cons: does not warm up REALLY hot. Forgets what setting you left it on, so when you switch it on via smart plug it has reset itself to 1 hour at heat setting 6, no matter whet you really wanted. Very expensive - but I was desperate!

Fantastic Product
Purchased this for my partner who is always cold. She loves the thing. Can barely feel it though the sheets and she hasn't complained about being cold at night. Due its dual control, I can see be nice and cool, whereas she can simulate living in a desert. Would purchase again.

As a Emperor Mattress is 6 inches wider that a Super King mattress it will not cover as much in the width.

I have not been able to find a video on how to use the Dreamland Dual Control Mattress Protector-Super King, however it does have two plugs, one for each side of the mattress protector. It is switched on by pressing the white power button in the body of the controller and then selecting temperature setting (1-6) and auto switch off point (1 hour, 3 hours or 9 hours).

"Although washing machine drums are always marketed by the weight of the wash load, with something like an electric blanket, it's not so much the weight, as the volume of the item that is important. The drum needs to be physically large enough to accommodate the item oscillating inside it. If your blanket is too big for your own washing machine, you can take the blanket to the launderette, washing instructions are the same as home laundry."
Without knowing which brand, model, and capacity of machine it is that you have, we cannot give an exact answer nor could we confirm if it is suitable for your "standard" size appliance.

This Dreamland Organic Dual Control Electric Blanket- Super King is W180 - L200cm - an emperor mattress measures W200 - L200cm the length is fine but the width will be 20cm short.
