Great value, robust cafetiere

Bought as a replacement for the office cafetiere, nice big capacity suitable for 5 caffeine addicts.
Has been used every day for the last month and still going strong. The glass part and filter have been run through the dishwasher every day and are fine.
Looks good and has a really well designed handle that is more robust than the previous cafetiere which is nice and chunky.
Filters coffee well, very good value.
Bought to replace my broken Bodum cafetiere but it isn't as good. There is a bit too much space around the plunger and filter so there is no resistance and more of the residue gets through compared to my previous Bodum models. Also haven't been able to find replacement filters in the right size so has a much shorter life span than it should.
Works perfectly, the plunger feels like it will let coffee through as it's very easy to plunge but it plunges easily and doesn't let the grounds through. Some people have complained the glass has cracked when they put hot water in - you should never pour boiling water on coffee anyway, it should be off the boil, the glass wouldn't crack then. This is a great cafetiere at a good price.
