Dark grey, retro style, easy to read. Good price. V happy with purchase. Was worried it would be lighter due to pictures being slightly misleading. Surround is dark grey, hands and numbers are black- just what I wanted.

I really like this Jones kitchen clock. Its very easy to read, looks well and keeps time. Very quiet. A second hand would be nice but the overall look is good. We considered a more expensive brand but him really glad we went with this clock. It’s great value for money

The surround of the Jones Electric Wall Clock is a Dark Gray Plastic. The diameter of the clock is 25cm not as Argos state 27cm.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised: I’m afraid this is quite a tricky question to answer, due to the volume of ticking being a subjective matter. Different people will consider the tick to be differing volumes, which can also be affected by where the clock is hung – a quiet room will make the ticking more easily heard, and in a busier room it may not be heard at all.
We don’t believe this clock has a loud tick.
