Light bulb rather visible.
I really wanted to love this lamp but sadly the light bulb was so visible because the shade is very small. We wanted it low down on a coffee table where it isn’t looked like a naked bulb shining in our eyes. I think this lap would be better higher up like on the top of a cupboard where you can’t see the bulb. The shade is lovely corduroy in a great shade of orange.

Awesome MCM aesthetic
Bought this lamp to complement the smaller "corduroy" effect one. The Mid Century Modern aesthetic is really good. The mustard colour is good, and the fact that it's real fabric on the shade is even better. A cinch to put together. The ES (E27) screw fitting gives lots of options, and I think this looks better with a bigger-than-normal bulb. I'd definitely recommend using a bulb that shows some design itself, perhaps a filament or silvered top one.

Mustard and walnut lamp
Buzzes constantly when switched on. Goes off and on ( flickers) can’t even use it. Expensive ornament. Would love if customer support would contact me, as the lamp is exactly what I needed looks wise.

Nice light
I just want to point out, in contrast to an earlier review, that the shade is perfectly stable and securable with a screw-on plastic ring which the reviewer may not have noticed. Also, while the seam is indeed visible, this is pretty standard for lampshades - you just put the seam at the back! Other than that, it's a nice enough light, the touch-sensitive switch is great and the cord is cloth-covered and grey so it's not terrible to have on display.

The shade colour is mustard, and the shade colour does not change when the light is on (assuming that the bulb you use is not a coloured one of course, where the colour of the bulb may then affect how it appears).
