Good mid-season weight
I have now bought two of these. They are an excellent compromise weight for two grandchildren who tend to get too hot in bed. Ideal certainly for occasional use. I haven't yet had to wash them, however.

1-3 years: As your child grows, their body temperature regulation improves. However, toddlers are still susceptible to overheating. A tog rating of 4.0 to 4.5 offers a comfortable balance between warmth and safety for this age group.
4 years and up: Children in this age range can typically handle slightly higher tog ratings. A duvet with a tog rating of 7.0 to 9.0 should provide sufficient warmth without causing discomfort.
