Poor packaging
As per other reviewers comments, mine arrived with chips to the paintwork. It’s nothing like as strong as the similar Hay one appears to be, but at a fraction of the price it seems like a good buy, despite the chips. So I decided to retouch the paintwork myself and keep it. I don’t know why habitat done read the reviews and take note - they really need to be packaged better I bought a lovely bench cushion by madam stoltz which fits perfectly, the bench definitely benefits from a cushion

Lovely garden bench
So happy with this bench. Love the green colour and came fully assembled which was a bonus.

Good for the price but damaged on arrival.
For the price this is a sturdy little bench and the yellow is a great pop of colour in the garden. As others have said, it's more of a mustard yellow than it appears in the photos. It only scored 4 out of 5 though as it was damaged on arrival. It has scratches along the front and down the front legs. From the way it was wrapped I suspect that someone had already returned this particular bench. Unfortunately there were no other benches in stock to exchange it. After much deliberation I decided that I would keep it as other similar benches available appeared to be considerably more expensive: I will get some yellow rust proof paint to touch it up.

Nice practical bench
This is a nice and functional garden bench. It seems quite sturdy and hard-wearing. The green colour goes really nicely in the garden. It comes assembled and as other customers have mentioned the packaging is quite a job to remove but the bench was well protected and no scratches. It would be nice if a recyclable packaging method could be explored.

Don’t be fooled by the low cost. Poor manufacturing quality. Two benches. Two lots of scratched paintwork. Shame as habitat used to value its product quality.

They call me mellow yellow
Impressed with the sturdiness and overall build of this bench. Seems fairly comfortable but would probably use a cushion for long periods of sitting. Yellow is definitely more muted and off mustard rather than a bright sunshine yellow, hence 4 stars.

This does not come with any fittings in order to be fixed to the ground. We would not recommend this either as it would mean drilling the product which would void your one year guarantee.
