I have spoken to our suppliers who have advised as follows.
The Body moulding memory foam for helps pressure relief and soothing comfort. Memory Foam does retains body heat, so if you are quite a warm sleeper, this can make you feel warmer.

This Double mattress will fit and be suitable for use with the Fairfield Double bedframe
we'd recommend no more than a 7.5cm gap between the slats. 2) there is no minimum. The closer they are together the more support the bed will give to both you and your mattress. 3) you can sleep to the edge of this mattress and not feel like you'll fall out such is the edge to edge support. 4) the miracoil spring is designed so as to run head to toe through the mattress so when your partner moves on their side of the mattress, you don't. The silentnight hippo and duck were borne out of this technology and spring system

Comfort is very subjective and what is comfortable to one person won't be to another. It always takes a little time to get used to a new mattress as the feel won't be what you are used to. This is a medium/firm feel mattress that will soften over a period of time. If it is your neck that is stiff, this is more likely to be caused by your pillow rather than the mattress.
