Part of the Silentnight Travis collection, this orthopaedic mattress is designed with a blend of Eco Comfort fibre fillings, a unique Miracoil spring system and traditional hand tufting to provide great back support which eases aches and pains, without compromising on comfort. With a firm feel, this spring system ensures no roll together for less partner disturbance, edge to edge support for more sleep space and zoning across the mattress which is scientifically proven to provide better spinal alignment for people of all shapes and sizes.
This mattress features a layer of eco comfort fibres, chosen for additional comfort without compromising the planet - as it uses a comfort layer made from recycled plastic bottles which also allow airflow for a more breathable environment as you sleep. It's finished in a smooth damask cover, and is hypoallergenic for healthier sleep each night. As an easy care mattress, you don't need to worry about flipping it simply rotate it head to toe regularly to ensure longevity.

Light weight
Not very firm for an orthopedic mattress. However it is the lightest, 16.5kg. This begs a question why they make orthopedic mattresses heavy? By definition the people who buy orthopedic mattresses are likely to have back problems and would be helpful for them not to have a heavy mattress that they can not manage on their own.

It helped my back pain
I bought this because my old memory foam mattress was giving me severe back pain whenever I got up. After 2 weeks of using this mattress my back is much better, however the firmness is taking some getting used to. Sleeping on it is not yet comfortable although this is getting gradually better. Also i am feeling more tired during the day even though I am sleeping for long periods. So pluses and minuses but the improvement in my back is definitely worth it.

Our supplier has advised their mattresses for a single size go through a roller test of 16 Stone for weight. Double sizes upwards is a combined weight of 32 stone.

If you are used to or like a firm mattress I would suggest that the Travis miracoil Microquilt would be the best of the options you suggest. However, if you prefer something softer yet supportive I'd suggest you look at the Middleton 800 pocket comfort option
