As stylish as it is functional, Dualit's Lite Kettle is an easy to use, upright kettle with a smooth, pouring action. The BPA free viewing windows feature a cup level indicator on one side and the other side measures the water in litres. Fill the kettle with just the right amount of water you need to boil, down to just one cup, saving time, energy and water. The Lite Kettle is easy to fill, lift and pour. The spout on the Lite Kettle has been precision engineered with contours to ensure spills are a thing of the past.
The compact Lite Kettle uses a powerful 2.4kW element for a faster boiling time. The element is concealed in the base of the kettle, away from water contact to reduce limescale damage. The boil-dry safety feature stops the kettle boiling if its empty.

Dualit Replacement Kettle.
We purchased this kettle a few weeks ago to replace our Dualit kettle which we have had for many years.Unfortunately some of the interior plastic inside the kettle had started to disintigrate.The replacement kettle is such a disappointment as the exterior plastics feel much cheaper and poorly finished off.The lid is so stiff due to the tight fit of the rubber seal.Trying to open it with the round knob cuts into the skin as the ridge in the centre is so poorly finished (sharp).The main handle also has a sharp edge to it

Bought it a month ago and it’s a great kettle, boils quickly. Others have mentioned that the lid is a little stiff but I pushed the tabs on it to make it easier to close. One other gripe is that the power cord is black, which makes it look out of place with the kettle being silver and white, otherwise It does what you want it to do which is all that matters.

Lovely kettle
It's beautiful to look at (as kettles go) and seems reasonably quiet in operation. The lid is quite tight to prise open and to close - but maybe that's not a bad thing.

Stainless steel. If the kettle gets splashes of water on it, I would recommend drying it fairly promptly and buffing it. The longer water marks are left on the body, the harder they become to remove.
