The Silentnight Middleton Comfort is an 800 pocket sprung mattress with a medium feel; great for protecting the back, but soft enough to sink into sleep with comfort. Including layers of Eco Comfort Fibres for extra support and to allow natural airflow, the mattress is finished with a soft knit cover for added comfort through the night. Made here in the UK, this mattress is easy care, meaning there's no need for turning and it will last for years to come. **The piping detail may be white, or grey (as picture shown).
The 800 individually responsive pocket springs in this mattress help with no roll together meaning you won't disturb a sleeping partner when you move around in the night. While Eco Comfort Fibres mean it's great for both yourself and the environment, as it uses a comfort layer made from recycled plastic bottles, to bring you sumptuous comfort and a fresher night's sleep without costing the planet. All Silentnight products are hypoallergenic for healthier sleep.

Very comfortable great value for money
This mattress at first appears to be a little hard however after sleeping on it for about week it’s fine I do suffer from a bad back and my other mattress was a memory foam which I now have discovered that it was too soft this mattress is on the firm side but great for people with back problems very comfortable

The mattress does not contain any wool.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Silentnight Middleton 800 Pocket Comfort Mattress - Double: Please see our recommendations for a suitable base below.
Only use your mattress with a suitable base, one which will provide suitable support like our upholstered divans. Slat widths should be between 8cm – 10cm and the gap between them no more than 6cm, to offer the best support for the base of your mattress. Tubular bar or Mesh frames are not recommended as these do not offer enough support to you or your mattress long term.

I can advise that the Silentnight Middleton 800 Pocket Comfort Mattress - Double is a single sided mattress. This will be the case with the majority of pocket sprung and memory foam mattresses. If you are looking for a double sided mattress please search for one that has open coil springs as these can typically be used on both sides.
