I purchased this a few weeks ago, it said that the foam will expand which it did in certain areas but not in the corners as it was compressed too much. Appart from that my daughter was happy with the mattress.

Sadly no, the cover does not have a removable cover with a zip. We would recommend using a mattress protector to help keep your mattress clean and extend its lifespan.
