Purchased the knives a few months ago now and iv had plenty of time to use them and get to know what there like for cutting,
Excellent set of knives for cutting all sorts i mainly use them for cutting vegetables nice grip on the handle non slip so don’t have to worry about them slipping out of your hands would definitely recommend this product,
I'm really pleased with these knives, great quality, look good on the kitchen counter and the handy extra of a knife sharpener included, excellent value for money.
These 5 knives are probably the only knives most of us need in the kitchen. They are sharp and fit nicely and safely in the compact wooden stand, which incorporates a knife sharpener. There is a magnetic strip on the side to enable the matching scissors to be added, but from what I can see these scissors have to be purchased online and are expensive. My own kitchen scissors (coincidentally the same colour green) will attach via the magnetic strip so that was handy. The stand is big enough for the knives to be put in and taken out easily, but is compact enough to fit into a small corner of the kitchen, and frees up space in the cutlery drawers. I have used all knives, vegetable/paring knife, serrated fruit/tomato knife, all purpose chopping, cheese etc knife, carving knife and bread knife. I can highly recommend this knife set. A little expensive but I’m sure I’ll have these for many years.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the BergHOFF Leo Forest 6 Piece Knife Block Set: The blade does not run through the handle so it is neither full tang or half tang. Never the less it is fit for purpose and meets all the required test protocols.
