Easy to use
I bought this as a belated Christmas present for my mother, and she loves the ease of it compared to the handheld beater she used to use. Bought it in the sale, which was a great saving.

Bowl issue
The bowl cannot be taken out of the support if become hot because it is locked out. The design has flaws.

Warranty - Classic 2 years, Artisan 5 years.
Power - Classic 275W, Artisan 300W
Attachments - Classic 3 attachments, Artisan 7 attachments
Bowl Capacity - Classic 4.3L, Artisan 4.8L.

Depends what do you really want to use it for. Classic has slightly less Power then Artisan. Also there is bowl difference, one comes with handle other without, but you can purchase additional bowl with handle.
For cakes both are perfect and for dough maybe. Bases on my research both are not very good for dough but do the job. If you are more looking for bread maker, I would buy Classic and breadmaker seperately. For bread invest in breadmaker with kneeding function.

The other accessories seen are to demonstrate there are other accessories available.
