Poor design, very flimsy
Once assembled this wardrobe has excessive back/forth and side to side movement. A back brace was too short, the instructions were vague in important stages 7 & 9 with just diagrams, no labelling front/rear causing confusion leading to an error that caused damage (screwing wrong side of a panel), overall it is not sturdy enough on the 4 small feet and the fabric wall anti tip straps will not prevent side to side movement. The doors do not align due to this. A solid proper base is required not a couple pieces of 2” wide slats , one that is held with angle brackets, tiny screws and doesn’t fit properly. Also what is a ‘mending plate’?…shouldnt this be called a door plate to save yet more confusion?…quality is nice overall, shame about the design, too rickity and needs a base or better reinforcing

Having checked the instructions, the wardrobe has been per-drilled for the hanging rail. No other holes have been drilled for an additional rail.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Habitat Brooklyn 2 Door 2 Drawer Wardrobe - White.
The wardrobe is available in three colours: white, dark grey, and dark green. It comes with a water-based UV acrylic lacquer finish, which can be challenging to paint over. Painting directly on this lacquer is generally not recommended.
However, if painting is desired, the lacquer must be thoroughly sanded using 150-grit sandpaper to create a matte surface before applying any water-based lacquer paint. This ensures better adhesion and a smoother finish.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Habitat Brooklyn 2 Door 2 Drawer Wardrobe - White:
All chipboard and MDF panels contains glue. So, they will emit some formaldehyde. Even untread pine does naturally emit formaldehyde.
We buy our MDF panels in Germany. Germany has stricter regulations for formaldehyde emissions from MDF panels which from 2020 only allow half the amount of formaldehyde E05 as rest of Europe.
From August 2026 will rest of Europe follow the change from E1 to E05 values.
