I can't see any difference between this and a normal duvet which I also wash. The visible overlocking and label make it look like you have forgotten to put a cover on. I use it for my sleep in night shifts so appearance isn't important. But if you want something that looks nice it's probably worth investing in a more expensive one.
I have used these duvets for years and have recently purchased another for my elderly mother who is struggling with getting a duvet cover on and off. These Coverless duvets are very cosy, relatively lightweight so are easy to handle. They wash and dry well. I will put it in the washing machine in the morning (8kg machine) and it’s back on the bed at lunch time. Tumble dries in 90 minutes. Really can’t recommend it enough. I just wish Silentnight did other colours or patterns rather than grey or navy.
The family like this duvet on the bed but have washed for the first time and stitching is coming undone
