Cooks a lovely egg and bacon pie my husband loves it
I have used this dish once to make a blackberry pie and it was pretty much just the right size for the amount of blackberries I happened to have and amount of pastry I had made. The dish is robust enough and has a slightly memorable design.
I was having friends around for a meal and needed a pie dish large enough to serve six. I already have the dinner service in this design so this was perfect to go direct from oven to table. Pie cooked perfectly ( no soggy bottom) and no sticking.
Purchased this to go with the speckle dinner service that I bought and I am so glad I did as it is perfect. The design and durability means it will last a very long time.
