Solid pine and designed to last, this detachable bunk bed is a sturdy and versatile choice your kids will love. It separates into 2 single beds so it's great for when your kids want a space of their own. In a simple and timeless style, this painted version has reversible head and footboards, so you can choose either a panelled effect or smooth. As singles, the ground clearance is identical on both beds so they'll be the same height side by side.
Comes with 2 Habitat Kids Rae Comfort Open Coil Single Mattress. Foam free, chemical treatment free and hypoallergenic for healthier sleep, they're perfect for growing children. And being single sided, you won't need to turn them.
To split the bunk into 2 single beds, you will need to do a spot of reassembly, moving the longer legs to the headboards to make both beds the same height. Just follow the step-by-step instructions.

Poor quality poorly made
I’m very disappointed with this children’s bunk bed. The mattresses are extremely poor quality — the springs stick out so much that my children complained of back and back pain after just a couple of nights. You can literally feel the springs through the fabric. The bottom bunk also makes loud creaking noises every time my child moves, which disrupts sleep and makes the whole bed feel unstable. We tried tightening everything, but nothing helped. For the price, I expected much better. Overall, this bunk bed is uncomfortable, noisy, and cheaply made. I regret buying it and wouldn’t recommend it.

Sturdy and easy to construct.
So pleased we went for these for our grandchildren. They love them and they are very sturdy and so easy to construct . My husband took 3 hours but someone younger would be quicker. Good instructions and no fuss delivery. All in all excellent.

The supplier has advised the following for the Detachable Bunk Bed and 2 Kids Mattresses - White:
"Yes, I would say it is made from low VOC material. Mainly made from Scandinavian pine and the MDF used in 4 end panels complies to the German requirements which only allows ½ as much emission as rest of Europe. The lacquer is safety tested for usage on baby products."
They add this further detail:
The detachable bunk bed is made from Scandinavian PEFC pine with MDF FSC end panels. Lacquered with UV acrylic water based lacquer.
The bed is tested to the latest safety standard EN 747:2024
The MDF panels complies to the strict German requirements, which only allows ½ as much emission as in the rest of EU and UK.
The lacquer is tested and comply to several safety standards for formaldehyde, heavy metals, lead and REACH. The lacquer is furthermore tested for PAH and Phthalates as the lacquer also is used for baby products where they lick on the lacquer.
