The slatted sprung base provides good support. But the star of the show is the flamboyant headboard. Softly padded and upholstered in a smart tweed-like fabric it sits beautifully within its shapely frame. Bravo Margot!

Lovely bed, looks more expensive than it was
The French styling of this bed appealed to me. It is made of solid pale wood and was easy to assemble even for a pensioner!

The wood is solid, the bed is beautifully made, it’s sturdy & well designed
The headboard is oatmeal with a pine finish. It’s a beautiful well made bed, I’m very happy with it

The material on the upholstered part of the headboard is “natural”, so it’s neither really grey or beige as such. On balance though, it's perhaps closer to a greyish-cream type colour.
