The Habitat Storage Mid Sleeper Bed Frame combines storage and sleeping space in one practical piece. It features a single mid sleeper with a swing-out desk, three drawers, shelves under the ladder steps, and a long shelf along the top by the bedside. A wheel-out chair with hidden storage fits neatly underneath. Ideal for smaller bedrooms, the beech frame with wood effect finish has curved edges for a modern look. Suitable for ages six and over, it supports up to 100kg. Wall-mounting brackets ensure stability. Wooden slats are included, and the ladder stays fixed.
The safety rail stands 30cm high to keep your child secure while they sleep. There's 73cm of space between the floor and the underside of the bed, giving plenty of room for the desk and storage to slide in and out. The desk gives you proper space for homework or hobbies. Use a mattress no thicker than 16cm for safety. It's a sturdy piece built to last, but you'll need two people to put it together, just follow the step-by-step instructions provided. Comes with a two-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Lovely Bed
My daughter was very excited about getting this bed. She had a bit of a longer wait as both end panels were damaged, however they were replaced 4 days after I called customer support. The bed and steps feel very sturdy. The desk is easy for my daughter to pull in and out. She loves the built in shelves and has been working out what she wants to store on them. We're going to add fairy lights under the bed to turn it in to a little den for her. In total, it took just over 5 hours for my husband to build. There are only a few steps where 2 people are needed, e.g. holding the end panel whilst the shelf is attached. The only reason I didn't rate the bed 5 stars is because some of the bed slats needed sanding and the drawers have a strange smell - I'm airing them before using them for clothes.

Very sturdy bed, with a fun yet functional design
We bought this bed for our 6 year old daughter. Beautifully made, and very sturdy. Assembly was a bit of a mammoth task (mid morning to early evening), but only because there are a lot of bits as it's a big bed. We put the old cotbed mattress on the floor underneath to make an occasional extra bed/comfy den, and it fitted perfectly even with the desk and chair in the closed position. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the edges are a little sharp, just where the laminate meets. Otherwise, a fabulous bed that our daughter loves.

Great detail and great storage
I bought this a few weeks ago, Its well worth the money and its ideal for smaller bedrooms that need storage as well as somewhere to sleep. The the room underneath the bed is great to hide, its been a great asset to the bed in my childs opinion. It does mention it takes a couple of hours, but if your going to be building it, in a small bedroom like ive done, I would give a few more hours on top of the intended time frame.

I would advise that a standard single sized mattress 190cm by 90cm will fit this however it should not be any deeper than 15 cm.
