These 200 LED string lights in bright white are bursting with cheer! They're battery operated and can be used inside or outdoors, so you can hang them pretty much anywhere (just make sure the battery pack is somewhere dry and sheltered). Perfect for Christmas or Diwali decorations, they come with 8 functions of flashes, fades and twinkles or you can just choose to have them steadily shining bright.
They can also be set on a timer, coming on automatically for 8 hours on and then off again for the next 16 hours. A handy feature, it's perfect if you've got them outdoors and you don't want to pop out each evening to set them going.

Battery drain
Seemed like a bargain with reduced price but the batteries don’t last and they were Duracell batteries. Disappointed as these seemed to cause severe battery drain

Great amount of lights
The space of each light, and the amount of lights, with the amount of type of flashing light/or still light, choice, they’re brilliant!!! You need plenty of AAA batteries though for all day and regular use

The lights have a blueish tinge which is not what I wanted. I suppose I should have gone for a warm white. that being said they are as advertised and I really like the automatic switch on and off, a very good feature .

Thanks for your query about the 200 Bright White Multi-function Timer LED Lights.
Part of the full length is the part of the cable that leads from the plug to the first light. If the entire length was lit, this would mean that part of the lit length would be leading from your plug socket up to the tree or feature that you'd be using it on. This lit section is 11.93m but, if you include the rest of the cable up to the plug, it's 20m.

Having checked with the supplier for you I can let you know it needs to be un-screwed. Then open two clips at the side.

Yes I had that problem as well. The screw is so small you need a special tiny screw driver to open it. I gave up and sent them back in the end and will just purchase some elsewhere
Yes I did and having tried many different sized screw drivers I gave up and handed it to my husband who also struggled. Finally it moved and we got into it. Guess what we have not replaced the screw! Silly thing was that I bought a similar set from somewhere else: no screw and no problems.

I would advise that the Argos Home 200 Bright White Multi-function Timer LED Lights has an automatic timer (8 hours on/16 hours off).
The timer starts from the time you first switch them on.
If you need to change the start time, remove the batteries and put them back in when you want the timer to start again.
