This chunky bunk bed is made with hardwearing solid wood. It comes complete with 2 Habitat Rae mattresses so you can get set up as soon as it all arrives. The thick rails and slats help give it a sturdy finish and, best of all, it can be separated and used as 2 individual beds too. We've made sure the ground clearance is the same on both beds so if you use them separately, they'll look identical. Fitting holes are also plugged when you separate them so you'll still have the same high quality finish.
The bunk bed comes with 2 Habitat Kids Rae Comfort Open Coil Single Mattress. Ideal for growing children, the comfy kids mattress has an open coil design to provide firm support, while fibre filling adds a layer of cushioning. Foam free and chemical treatment free, it has a soft anti-allergy cover to help prevent dust mites, skin irritations and allergies.

Solid frame and good size.
The bunks were easy to put up with good instructions. Very solid for grandchildren and adults to stay . . The paint looks a little thin however in the future I think you could give them a coat of paint if need be.

Bought this as it said heavy duty. It does not disappoint. Took a while to put together with 2 of us (kids helped where they could). It looks better than the pictures and the mattresses are pretty standard. Kids love the whole thing so as long as they’re happy, I’m happy.

This would depend on the persons height and weight. The beds are 190cm in length and the maximum user weight per bunk is 100kg.

The supplier has advised the following for the Heavy Duty Bunk Bed and 2 Kids Mattresses - Pine:
“ Heavy Duty external dimensions are 2058 x 1028 x 1590mm.
The internal dimension of the beds (for mattress) are: 1900 x 900 x 160mm.
And the distance between the lower bed sidebar and the upper bed sidebar are: 685mm. ”

Having checked, no you cannot change the position of the steps/ladder to go on the left. The side rails have pre-drilled holes on them on the right hand side only.
