Nice aesthetic but could be better in quality
Looks good but arrived with some scratches and marks. You get what you pay for so overall would still buy.

Fantastic value
Really happy with the bed. I found the instructions clear and putting it together straight forward, so should be ok for anyone comfortable with flat pack furniture. One thing to be aware of is that it has 26 slats along the base that supports the mattress, each slat has a screw on each side to secure it, so 104 screws just for the slats, which is the most time consuming part.

Great product. Well made .
Attractive looking piece of furniture . Looks amazing . Nice and low to the floor for a much better sleep regime. A floating bed type of feel . Beautiful for my elderly mum who really appreciates the colonial feel . Thank you

Love the bed!
I brought this a month ago and I am so pleased with it, the wood is a beautiful coulour, it's low and suits my vibe so much. Putting it together was pretty simple too, but the pieces don't have numbers on them, so you kinda have to figure that out lol, but apart from that 10/10 would buy again!

Very sturdy
The bed was easy to set up and it’s very sturdy. It is quite low to the ground so you can fit slim boxes for storage if needed.

Beautifully made and easy to construct.
In the considered world of contemporary slumber solutions, few offerings manage to strike that delicate balance between pragmatic restraint and quiet luxury quite like the Ion Habitat Akio. This double wooden platform bed frame in walnut presents as the sort of thoughtfully conceived domestic centerpiece that might grace the primary residence of a Helsinki-based creative director or the pied-à-terre of a Kyoto ceramicist. The Akio's clean lines and architectural silhouette speak to a design ethos that values subtraction over addition—a refreshing stance in an era when many furniture makers seem determined to outdo one another with unnecessary flourishes. The walnut finish carries a rich depth that will only improve with age, developing the sort of patina that invites gentle caresses during late-night lovemaking sessions. There is something decidedly assured about the way the Akio sits in a space—neither announcing itself too loudly nor receding into insignificance. Like the best dinner party guest, it enhances the room through quiet confidence rather than domineering presence. For the discerning urbanite who appreciates the distinction between trend and enduring style, the Akio represents that rare find: a sleeping platform that doesn't require one to choose between aesthetic satisfaction and practical utility. One imagines waking in this frame feeling inexplicably more prepared to face the day's diplomatic negotiations or curatorial decisions. At a moment when we might all benefit from reconsidering our relationship with rest, the Ion Habitat Akio makes a compelling case for investing in the infrastructure of repose. After all, as any seasoned globetrotter knows, the quality of one's rest directly influences the quality of one's waking hours—a philosophy this elegantly restrained piece embodies with understated conviction.

Stylish design at a good price
This bed was just what I was looking for - a low platform bed with a large headboard. The walnut stain is perfect and fits in with the look I was going for. The assembly was not straightforward but it is comfortable and looks great.
