not bad piece
nice looking, the blue matte finish shows off finger prints easily - so pretty frequent wiping needed. Drawers are a bit wobbly in opening. Overall not bad. Not a forever unit, but good for now. Takes a while to assemble.

Beautiful colour
I brought these drawers as I have the matching wardrobe. The finish is absolutely gorgeous and great quality. I brought them both when they were reduced and it just feels like a massive bargain as well as great quality furniture for our spare bedroom.

Don’t
Arrived covered in scratches and took over 7 hours to build due to the instructions being so bad - only get this if you want to loose the will to live

Had many compliments about this chest of drawers.
I bought this to keep laptop and paperwork tidy. It is ergonomically stylish in a beautiful navy polished finish with concealed fingertip grooves.

Awful
I bought this a month ago but I’ve only just had the chance to put it together. The quality is awful. Huge uneven gaps between the draws, and it’s chipped. There is also a scratch to the drawer front which I don’t think I did, but can’t say I didn’t. However the chip was definitely there from out the box. Awful. Don’t waste your money on it.

Nice looking with some issues
I bought this in the January sales so it was a real bargain. 200 pieces, including nails and dowel rods. So it’s time-consuming flat pack. I did manage to put it together alone (63 yr old 4’ 9”woman!). However, I had a few issues. Firstly, I don’t understand why Habitat wouldn’t prepare ALL the edges of the base; it can’t be to save paint, as they prepare whole inner surfaces of the drawer fronts that are covered by plain wood and so are never seen. Anyway, I missed the instruction about having the prepared edge at the front until it was way too late and so, as taught by my dear father, I made the mistake into a feature and covered the rough edge with copper tape and while I was at it I tarted up the drawer handles too. So it’s looks very snazzy now. Another problem is that not all screw holes are pre-drilled, which is hard work (especially as they recommend hand screwing) and other screw holes are too wide to accurately guide the screws vertically. This caused me a problem when screwing the sides to the base, as the screws pushed out bulges into the lower part of each exterior side panel. Not great. I managed to somewhat mitigate the issue by rescrewing. I’ve never had that problem with IKEA flat pack drawers. Habitat tell you to put the labelled drawer base into the top drawer and this is a label (about screwing the unit to the wall to stop it toppling over) which is too sticky to remove. I’d have put it in the bottom drawer if I’d been able to think ahead, while sorting where the 200 pieces had to go! Anyway, I’ve covered the ugly label with something else. Finally, I know I’ve fixed the drawer runners correctly and the drawers definitely slide open and shut, but they are not as smoothe as IKEA drawers. Ergonomically, they’re not nice drawers handles to use. All in all, I now have a very nice looking chest of drawers for occasional visitors but I’m glad I don’t have to use them on a daily basis.
