Exceptional Quality
This mixer replaced a rather old Breville. It is made to a very high spec and functions as if it will last forever. The machine has options to 'upgrade' with several accessories, demonstrating versatility. Very happy.

I bought this recently so have only used it a few times but I love it. It is very heavy so best kept on worktop but that means it doesn’t move when in use. Easy to use with no fancy controls as there is only a speed switch and the locking mechanism to tilt or lock the mixer in position. I have a classic Matt black model which is very stylish and looks good. Kitchenaids are not the cheapest but I have tried some of those and this classic model is all I need and well worth the money

Great mixer, poor attachments
Ok machine however I own the handheld kitchen aid mixer and the attachments on that are miles better manufactured than the ones on this. The paddle and dough hook are coated with some thing white and I can see what look like “chips” of paint after 2 uses. Disappointed .

We used to have a kenwood mixer but this kitchen aid knocks into a cocked hat so much better to use and does everything you need.

The attachments should not be set to touch the sides and bottom of the bowl.

Hi Flora, The KSM5GB glass mixing bowl will fit on the classic stand mixer.
i bought this mixer in good faith going on the answers i read only to find it does not have the stir option like i was lead to believe from the answers i recieved but by the time i opened the box it was to late to return item
