Poor quality control
Like the finish and design but the bench arrived without going through quality control (or someone who didn't care) there are gluey fingerprints on the spindles and the join along the backrest is fudged. - this is not damage in transit just poor finishing. Really frustrating as it is a massive waste of resources. I think it is telling that when you phone them to arrange a return of the product the first thing they offer is a discount to keep the damaged product.

Beautiful design poor workmanship
I have so far received two of these benches with the second being more damaged than the first. As others has experienced the joins are the weak area on the back of the seat. Really disappointed. Now been told to wait until it comes back into stock before I can ask for a replacement

Very poor joinery
Like other reviewers have said, this bench is really poorly designed and there is sloppy joinery between the wood, leaving big gaps. Its a shame because it is a beautiful bench otherwise. Have returned and ordered more of the single chairs instead as they do not have the same issue.

Poor workmanship
Nice looking benches but ruined by the lack of care/quality control with the workmanship

The bench is sturdy and practical. It is as expected and good value.
Poor pensioner
Poor quality control
Ordered 1 bench, back had obvious damaged joint and split wood. Returned. Ordered again. Exactly the same problem. Returned again.
