Comfortable matress
A really good night's sleep from night 1( bought 2 for twin beds). The mirapocket springs are lovely and supportive, and the memory foam gives that extra bit of comfort. I can easily sleep on my side or back and wake up without any aches or pains in the morning. There is only one downside to this matress and that is there are no handles on to aid rotating.

firm but comfortable
We bought this mattress about a month ago and we're pretty happy with it so far. The first few days it felt a little too hard when sleeping on one's side -- not much give. But either we got used to it or (more likely) it grew softer. Now it's just right. But definitely the "medium firm" description seems a little off.

A single mattress would be suitable for a body weight of around 18 stones. It would probably support more weight but for heavier than this space would be more the issue
