The doors on the Habitat Bournemouth Hideaway Desk have a solid pine finish over an MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) base.
No, the Habitat Bournemouth Hideaway Desk is not suitable for painting, and attempting to do so will likely void the warranty. The manufacturer has advised that its surface finish is not compatible with paint.
