Easy to build
Easy to build, sturdy bed, not too high for a toddler, looks good, quality is nice for the price, so I think it will last, very happy with the purchase.

Excellent little bed
Bought for our severely disabled son. Put it against the wall with the higher side facing outward. He's learning to sleep in a single bed and the higher side is keeping him from falling out. Once he's mastered it we'll turn it round. It's a lovely sturdy bed. We were able to put a pool noodle onto the headboard for extra safety. Anyone with a disabled child that climbs out of their specially made bed, this one is great. Quite low so not much risk of falls. I'm really happy and I didn't like him sleeping on the floor mattress in his other bed. He looks so comfy and peaceful now as I watch him on a camera from my room to make sure he's safe in the night and doesn't hurt his little self.

Hi, Fay
I can advise that the measurement from the slats to the top of the headboard on the Habitat Kids Ronnie Single Day Bed - White is 36cm, so, a mattress with a depth of 23.5 will allow 12.5 cm from the top of the mattress to the top of the headboard.
