Whether it's for siblings or sleepovers, bunk beds are loads of fun. This Ultimate bunk is a great example with its stylised chunky design, wide steps on the ladder for climing comfort, and a high guard rail for security and peace of mind. There's also shelving built into the frame so that each young sleeper has a place to put their alarm clock, books and other bedtime essentials - each shelf has a depth of 12cm. The ladder has been designed to be fixed on the right, and each bunk takes a standard single mattress.

These beds are good quality the shelves are a decent size on them but they do take a while to put up.

Lovely bunk bed, takes while to build
We bought this around a month ago, took two people around 3 hours to build it. Pretty sturdy / quality good.

It is a lovely bed
I bought this around 2 weeks ago it’s absolutely lovely but was very hard even with instructions to get up and even now it’s very flimsy 1 of the peices of wood (slat) is broken and a bolt missing

Great bed
The only thing I found is the steps are to slippery if children have socks on so I found bit of rements of carpet and glued on. The only other issue is little bars that go under the steps please fit them before you attach to the bed frame. Also the instructions missed a step too which is OK to fix

Look nice
Look nice but a nightmare to build from start to finish. Material is flimsy and wood snapped in a few places when screwing … luckily on the inside where you can’t see it! May be due to poor pre-drilling. Instructions were hard to follow, not very clear at all. Had to add extra brackets onto the shelves to pull the wood back as the wood was bowing and was visible. As a whole not as sturdy as it looks. Cheaply made for the price I paid, I was expecting better quality. Once finally up they look nice but disappointed.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Ultimate Bunk Bed Frame - Grey: The depth without ladder would be 131.5cm, width is 196.8cm.

Sadly, all parts have pre-drilled holes for self assembly so it would not be possible to change the position of the shelving.

The Habitat Ultimate Bunk Bed Frame - Grey is mainly made from particleboard but the slats are plywood. Screws and fixtures are mild steel apart from some plastic dowels.

Our supplier says they would recommend over 4 years for the bottom bunk and 6 years plus for the top bunk

This doesn't come with anything to attach it to the wall nor does it state that this needs to be attached to the wall in tha manual (Linked at the bottom of the Product Description).

Box 1 – 36.4kg.
Box 2 – 33.4kg.

Yes, a standard single size mattress (90cm x 190cm) will fit these bunks but please remember that the top bunk mattress should not be thicker than 16cms for safety.
