Great quality
Amazing quality and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Love the fact it can go straight from hob to oven for hands off slow cooking. Cook times do need to be adjusted as it retains heat so much better than my usual cookware. Great product for the price. Highly recommend the investment.

Wonderful alternative to Le Creuset
Essential item for our kitchen, will use all the time for many different things. Perfect size for family or batch cooking and washes brilliantly. Also looks amazing - great alternative to Le Creuset if on more of a budget! Only criticism would be the “Habitat” marking on the handle which isn’t shown as there in online photos.

Hello Kay,
I can advise the following for the Habitat 5.3 Litre Cast Iron Casserole Dish - Red:
The casserole dish is likely too small to accommodate another tin and still have its lid close properly.
Thanks for using Q & A.
Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat 5.3 Litre Cast Iron Casserole Dish - Red: The enamel is a vitreous, glass-based coating, but it contains other oxides (such as boron, aluminum, sodium, calcium) in addition to silica. The vibrant surface colors (orange, blue, green, etc.) are created by pigments. Therefore, although fundamentally glassy in nature, the coating is not 100% pure glass—it is a glass matrix blended with metal oxides.
Thank you for using Q&A.

Thanks for your query about the 5.3 Litre Cast Iron Casserole Dish - Red.
The knob on the lid is a brassy colour, so it's neither gold or silver.
