The Habitat 23cm Cast Iron Griddle Pan brings outdoor cooking flavour right into your kitchen, designed to cook steaks, veg and halloumi with less oil and fat. The clever ridged surface adds those signature grill marks while channelling excess oils away, so your food stays beautifully seared instead of sitting in grease. Made from cast iron with a durable enamel coating, it's tough enough for daily use and free from lead and cadmium.
The 23cm diameter gives you plenty of room for burgers, chicken or a full breakfast spread. It works across all hob types, including gas, electric, ceramic, halogen, induction and solid hotplates, so wherever you cook, it fits right in. It's oven safe up to 240C when you want to finish dishes off with a blast of heat. Just hand wash in warm soapy water to keep it in top condition, and it comes with a one-year manufacturer's guarantee for peace of mind.

Cooks well
I brought this for making grilled sandwich/baguette, it's very heavy and cooks well, It won't burn your food quickly unlike a non cast Iron one.

Nice inexpensive griddle
I bought this pan to be able to charr aubergines on an induction hub. It worked well for the purpose, though I would say the handle is quite thin and small for such a heavy pan. Not bad for the price, but maybe not for everyone.

It's possible as there is no non-stick coating that can be scratched off. however you could still scratch the iron.
