The Habitat Miami Extending Dining Table and 8 Grey Chairs provides space for daily meals and bigger get-togethers. The gloss white table top is scratch-resistant and easy to wipe clean, ideal for family life and kids. It seats six daily, then extends to fit eight. The extension slides out from underneath and slots in without fuss, just pull the ends apart and pop it into place. Eight midback chairs with grey tweed fabric and solid beech legs in white are included, so everyone has a seat.
The gloss finish on the table gives your dining area a bright, fresh feel while protecting the surface from everyday marks and spills. The chairs have solid wood frames that keep things stable and sturdy through plenty of use, and they'll each support up to 130kg. The fabric seat pads are comfortable for longer mealtimes or sitting around chatting afterwards. Self-assembly's needed, and it's worth having two people for it, all the bits are provided. There's a one-year guarantee that covers the set, so you've got that peace of mind.

Better than expected

Lovely Table Set
Real nice, slick modern looking table set with comfortable chairs. Docked a star due to the chairs being a bit finnicky to put together, and 2 had to be sent back due to being wobbly.

Amazing value/quality but takes ages to assemble
Amazing value for what you get but be warned it a snug fit eight people. Also make sure you set aside six hours to assemble. I’m an engineer and used to manual work but this is quite possibly the hardest and biggest jigsaw puzzle you will ever put together. Worth it all once it’s done though.

Good dining table
This is a good sized table and fits in our room perfectly. It was pretty straightforward to assemble but did take some time, also there were two of assembling the chairs and table together so it sped things up a bit. Overall im happy with the purchase.

FAMILY TIME.
My wife bought this table and chair set so as we can all Enjoy our food as a family. It has given us quality time being able to spend time together easily and comfortably. Good quality and it was much Easier to assemble than I anticipated. I am with my purchase.

Not great
I bought this a month ago and I’m disappointed with the finish. The legs aren’t solid as I expected, the screws were cheap and broke. In the photo the table looks grey but it’s actually white which although is my fault for not reading the advert properly it’s actually misleading. The chairs are nice but even on a flat floor 2 of them wobble even though the legs are pre drilled. There aren’t any screw covers so the table legs have screws on view.

Faulty screws and misguided instructions
I brought the dining table and 8 chairs. To be fair it reflects the price. The finished product looks great but the assembly was a nightmare. I was half convinced to just throw in all away. The screws kept on breaking. I went to B&Q to get new sets of screw. The instructions for the table legs were wrong. The table legs screw hole did not line up properly. But the finished table looks great .

I can advise the following for the Habitat Miami Extending White Dining Table & 8 Grey Chairs:
The first photo is of a lit space by sun light etc, and the white balance is slightly off causing them to appear more slate then dark grey, what you will receive is closer to the individual chair photos.

Our supplier has advised that the Habitat Miami Gloss Extending Table is scratch and moisture resistant but it is recommended to use pads under hot dishes.

Our supplier says "You are doing that correctly.
You should slide on the sides two pieces of table top. Turn the middle piece round and put it under 2 pieces of table top"
