Bought for my son who loves the colour black curtains walls blinds this lamp adds light in an otherwise dark room. This lamp has saved me from numerous accidents involving Lego and bare feet. The swing arm is great for more focused light when needed at his desk a good quality light.

Overall very good
It's pretty good overall. Solid heavy base. Easy to assemble and includes a tool. No bulb supplied but in the lampshade there's a label telling you which one. The light is warm, and not too much. It's flexible and with moving parts so it's not overly robustly stable, but at the same time not in any way wobbly. I use it on the edge of a sofa for book reading and the flexibility and the bulb wattage are both very good.

The supplier has advised the following for the Swing Arm Floor Lamp - Matt Black:
"The total length of cable is 2.4m, the length from switch to plug is 93cm." Yes, the switch is on the cable. We cannot give an exact answer as to whether it could be reached in bed as it'd depend on how the cord is laid out, where the lamp is in relation to the bed and the socket, and so on. It is, however, possible that they could access this lamp's switch from their bed if the set up was done the right way.
