This chunky bunk bed is made with hardwearing solid pine and MDF and has a modern, grey painted finish. Super sturdy, it comes with thick rails and slats. And best of all it can be separated and used as 2 individual beds! We've made sure the ground clearance is the same on both beds so they'll look identical if you use them separately. And fitting holes come with plugs so you can still enjoy the same high quality finish. The headboards come ready assembled.
The bunk bed comes with 2 Habitat Kids Rae Comfort Open Coil Single Mattress. Ideal for growing children, the comfy kids mattress has an open coil design to provide firm support, while fibre filling adds a layer of cushioning. Foam free and chemical treatment free, it has a soft anti-allergy cover to help prevent dust mites, skin irritations and allergies.

High Quality and Easy to Assemble
We were very impressed with the quality of the beds. We have two sons who are now using the bunks and they will absolutely test the quality and longevity over time - so far the bunks have done well. Two people are needed only for adding the top bunk on, otherwise I did it solo. The instructions are detailed and if you have assembled flat pack before, it should be okay. The boxes were much smaller than I expected, so should be easier to store. I would suggest getting an Allen or hex screwdriver set, or one for an impact driver like I used - otherwise build time will be quite lengthy with the included Allen key!

Excellent bunk beds!
I bought these bunk beds for my grandchildren. It is not often my expectations are exceeded! They are sturdy, well-made, larger than expected, mattresses comfortable to lie on and the grey is a great colour. My grandchildren love their new beds. There are several heavy pieces of wood, so it definitely needs 2 people to put together. Lifting the top bunk onto the bottom one took 3 of us. The fittings are of good quality, just be careful with the dowels as my husband broke 2 in half. I have already recommended these beds to my family and friends. An absolute bargain if you buy the beds and mattresses together.

Lovely Chunky Bunkbeds
Bought 2 sets of these bunkbeds with the mattressess too ... They are a nice colour and are quite chunky. They were easy to assemble but are quite heavy to move once put together, the mattresses that came with them were nice too, the kids have slept comfortable on them :D

Great solid bunk bed
Bought this for our 6 year old. He loves it. It was fairly straightforward to put together with two of us. It's solid, well made and doesn't creak which some high sleepers and bunk beds can. Very happy with it. Bought as a bundle with the mattresses.

No regrets at all
Absolutely brilliant bunk bed. Looks heavy duty and well built. I am impressed. It does take 1.5 people to build. Lol. I mean you will need someone to assist but easy to follow the manual. Surprised the kids with it and they loved it. My 6yrs old on the top and 2yrs at the bottom. It’s sturdy, even able to take my own weight. Under 100kg.

Relatively easy to put together. Make sure you get the mattress bases that fix to the ladder the right way round. Mattresses were thinner than standard but okay for our grandkids.

The supplier has advised the following for the Heavy Duty Bunk Bed and 2 Kids Mattresses - Pine:
“ Heavy Duty external dimensions are 2058 x 1028 x 1590mm.
The internal dimension of the beds (for mattress) are: 1900 x 900 x 160mm.
And the distance between the lower bed sidebar and the upper bed sidebar are: 685mm. ”

Having checked, no you cannot change the position of the steps/ladder to go on the left. The side rails have pre-drilled holes on them on the right hand side only.
