The Habitat Detachable Bunk Bed Frame with Trundle provides flexible sleeping space that adapts as your kids grow. Made from solid pine, a natural hardwood known for strength and durability, the bunk separates into two single beds when children want their own space, so no need to purchase new furniture later. A trundle bed underneath provides extra sleepover space. The grey painted finish suits most bedrooms, and reversible head and footboards let you choose between a panelled or smooth look. Wall-mounting brackets must be fitted for safety, which is important with bunk beds.
The ladder positions on either side to suit your room layout. Wooden slats support the mattress, no base needed. Safety rails on the top bunk are 32cm high to prevent rolling out during sleep. It fits mattresses up to 16cm deep on the top bunk for safe spacing. Maximum weight per bunk is 120kg, suitable for children aged six and over, and adults. When split into singles, both beds sit at the same height; just move the longer legs to the headboards as instructed. Self-assembly required, two people recommended. Comes with a two-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Good bed
Had the bed a couple of weeks now. Its a lovely bed. It is creaky as mentioned in other reviews but only really when getting in & out of bed, i think its where the ladder sits on the frame. The trundle bed is good but sadly I have already had to order a 2nd set of castor wheels for it as 4 of the original ones broke within about a week. Fingers crossed they do not break again. Easy to assemble, took us a few hours. Over all a good bed.

Perfect bunk bed
For grandchildren’s bedroom. Space saving so plenty of floor left for playing. Good value. Well made. Quite easy to assemble

Good value; sturdy frame
Recieved and assembled in the same day. It took about 2 hours to assemble with an electric screwdriver. Instructions were fairly easy to follow. Appears good quality that will hopefully withstand the test of time. Paint chips when knocked. It would be useful to be able to order a match pot, just incase the paintwork gets damaged by careless children!

Amazing bed!
I bought this for my 6,3 & 2 year old that’s PEG fed , it’s extremely convenient for him as he can have the trundle and his feeding pump can sit on the floor without having to be elevated at the side of him so it doesn’t cause occlusion, my 6 year old who is autistic loves to be on the top as he can escape the younger brothers who annoy him 😂 , thank you 🤩 brilliant product even though it took me 4 hours to assemble with lots of screams 😂 I recommend getting someone in to assemble if your anything like myself lol.

Hello Fay,
The supplier has advised the following for the Detachable Bunk Bed Frame with Trundle - Grey:
