Solid pine and designed to last, this detachable bunk bed is a sturdy and versatile choice your kids will love. It separates into 2 single beds so it's great for when your kids want a space of their own. And the added trundle bed makes sleepovers a dream! In a simple and timeless style, this painted version has reversible head and footboards, so you can choose either a panelled effect or smooth. As singles, the ground clearance is identical on both beds so they'll be the same height side by side.
To split the bunk into 2 single beds, you will need to do a spot of reassembly, moving the longer legs to the headboards to make both beds the same height. Just follow the step-by-step instructions. Need mattresses? We know that getting good quality sleep is really important for keeping children healthy and happy. So take a look at our range of mattresses to find the best ones for your children. Just make sure they're no deeper than 16cms, for safety's sake.

Perfect bunk bed
For grandchildren’s bedroom. Space saving so plenty of floor left for playing. Good value. Well made. Quite easy to assemble

Good value; sturdy frame
Recieved and assembled in the same day. It took about 2 hours to assemble with an electric screwdriver. Instructions were fairly easy to follow. Appears good quality that will hopefully withstand the test of time. Paint chips when knocked. It would be useful to be able to order a match pot, just incase the paintwork gets damaged by careless children!

Amazing bed!
I bought this for my 6,3 & 2 year old that’s PEG fed , it’s extremely convenient for him as he can have the trundle and his feeding pump can sit on the floor without having to be elevated at the side of him so it doesn’t cause occlusion, my 6 year old who is autistic loves to be on the top as he can escape the younger brothers who annoy him 😂 , thank you 🤩 brilliant product even though it took me 4 hours to assemble with lots of screams 😂 I recommend getting someone in to assemble if your anything like myself lol.

Sturdy and easy to be built
We have bought this bed for our boys. The bed was pretty straightforward to be put together and instructions were clear. Bed itself is sturdy and looks good for the value. Would recommend.

Habitat - Detachable Bunk Bed Frame with Trundle
Perfect for our Nieces and Nephews to stay over the summer. Two Person assembly was easy enough, but it does take a while so be patient, the result will be a good sturdy set of bunk beds. Trundle fit under the bed nicely.

Poor
Pictures are deceiving as single beds they aren’t the same height as pictured, the top bunk when it comes down is significant higher than the bottom bunk portion as a single bed. The bed is squeaky and made or poor materials and the caster wheel on the trundle broke on the first use.

Hello Fay,
The supplier has advised the following for the Detachable Bunk Bed Frame with Trundle - Grey:
“ It should be the same mattress size for the trundle as for the bunk bed. If the mattress is a really hard sprung mattress, it will push a bit on the bunk bed legs, and be a bit harder to pull the trundle bed in and out. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
