Installation is straightforward with the included connector that bends around corners, making it easy to navigate tricky spaces.
You'll need a Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus with Bluetooth base pack to get started (sold separately). The extension comes with a connector for seamless setup. Once connected, you'll have access to 16 million colours and adjustable white tones to match any mood, whether that's a cosy film night or a lively dinner party. Worked eventually
I bought this extension to add to an existing strip which I installed a couple of years ago. However the strip’s design appears to have changed as the new extension is slightly more streamlined than the old one - slightly less lwide. After a bit of fiddling, it was successfully connected!

Excellent Extension
Oddly much more reasonably priced than the full thing, but the extension strip is really easy to connect to existing Philips Hue strips, with the full suite of features. It also includes a bendy connector which has allowed us to connect the extensions around the corners. However, wish Philips would provide an additional connector which would connect cut end strips to connect to the pins of the extension. We had to source these separately from another company. Otherwise though, great product.

Good and basic but poor sticking
Product works as you would expect by Philips however sadly the end of the led strip doesn’t stick properly and bending the cable is too difficult so may need the 90 degree additional clip

i brought this a few weeks back and it’s brilliant, the philips hue led light strips are the best ones that i have owned, the double sided tape is perfect and the condition and the colour the lights give of is immaculate id definitely buy more

Waste of money!!
Bought these just over a year ago only for the transformer to fail and low and behold, you guessed it! You cannot buy a replacement part and would have to buy the whole thing. Dealing with Philips is apparently a complete nightmare and they have a lot of bad reviews for their service thus I ordered a replacement then though, NO WAY!! FOrget so called SMART lights as the only SMART thing they appear to do is make yet more profit for Philips. Green, ECO, energy saving huh! Yeah right. All this has achieved is creating more plastic/electronic garbage for landfill that was produced around the other side of the world, wasting energy then failed. Really great for the planet that. In future I will light a candle! Cheap, effective and much better for all!

The supplier has confirmed the Philips Hue Smart Lightstrip Plus 1M Extension come with a 3M adhesive backing, so you can easily attach them to any solid surface. Route your wiring inconspicuously along baseboards, inside cabinets, or up the outer edges of walls. You could even use panel end caps or concealed wire covers for a cleaner finish.

Yes, the Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus 1M with Bluetooth will work with the V2 indoor switch however you will need to have a bridge to be able to connect the switch to the system.

As this is an extension for the 2 meter lightstrip you aren't able to use this independently. You will need to purchase the 2 meter unit first.

This is an extension to the main lightstrip - so it connects to that. You cannot use this product independently.

The Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus can be controlled by Alexa and from the App on the phone. Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit devices for hands-free voice commands!
You will need the starter kit to cover larger surface and then you can add up to 10 extension 1metre sections.

Hello there,
This is the extension kit that will extend the 2 meter base strip that Philips Hue offer. You can add to the bridge as they can accommodate up to 50 connections (Bulbs and accessories)
This kit won't work by itself you will have to have the original 2 meter strip for it to work.

If you have the starter 2metre kit this extension should work just fine with it.
Make sure that both items are the same generation I.e. both generation 3 or 4 as the two generations are not compatible.
