Solid pine and designed to last, this detachable bunk bed is a sturdy and versatile choice your kids will love. It separates into 2 single beds so it's great for when your kids want a space of their own. In a simple and timeless style, this painted version has reversible head and footboards, so you can choose either a panelled effect or smooth. As singles, the ground clearance is identical on both beds so they'll be the same height side by side.
Comes with Habitat Kids Rae Comfort Open Coil Single Mattress. Foam free, chemical treatment free and hypoallergenic for healthier sleep, they're perfect for growing children. And being single sided, you won't need to turn them.
To split the bunk into 2 single beds, you will need to do a spot of reassembly, moving the longer legs to the headboards to make both beds the same height. Just follow the step-by-step instructions.

Excellent bunk beds
These have been in use for nearly 6 months now and they’re excellent. It did take us longer than the stated 2 hours to build but it was an easy enough build even if it was long. The mattresses were the biggest surprise - I expected them to be uncomfortable given how thin they are but they’re super comfy even for adults. Looking forward to separating the two beds in a few years to see how they do.

Assembling
The order came on time. Well packaged, good set of instructions however to our disappointment ome screw M60 90 mm was missing. Everything came to a standstill, we got from wicks, it didn't work, we ordered from amazon didn't work again and now wd are stuck.

Sweet dreams
Bought this for two grandchildren age 6. Brought for our grandchildren ages 6 and 9. They absolutely love it, tell us the mattresses are comfortable. In fact they have to swap bunks to save any arguments. It took about 3 hours to assemble but that was taking our time

Apologies, the base slats need to be placed to help with stability of the bed, this wouldn't be suitable for what you intend.

The supplier has advised the following for the Habitat Detachable Bunk Bed and 2 Kids Mattresses - White:
The measurement from the floor to the upper side of the bed base slats is 28,1cm for both single beds.
The mattress is 15cm, making floor to upper side of the mattress 43,1cm.

I have spoken to our supplier who has advised as follows.
The bunkbed is supplied with 2 steel wall brackets and 4 screws to attach the brackets to the bunkbed.
The end consumer, must then buy the right wall plugs and screws for the wall in their room, depending on what type of wall they got, concrete, bricks, plaster, wood etc.
