The Brooklyn Mid Sleeper makes the most of a small bedroom by lifting the sleeping space up and putting that floor area underneath to proper use. It's solid pine with chunky top rails and a sturdy frame that'll stand up to daily climbing and bedtime routines. This one comes with everything built in, there's a chest of drawers for clothes, a shelving unit for books and bits, and a pull-out desk that creates a proper little work area when you add a chair. The white finish keeps things bright and works with most bedroom colours.
The ladder can go on either side of the bed to suit your room layout. Wall-mounting brackets are included and must be used, that's really important for keeping the structure stable with kids climbing up and down. Sprung wooden slats support the mattress and help with airflow. It's for ages 6 years and over, with a maximum user weight of 120kg. Safety rails sit 35cm high to help prevent rolling out at night. Requires two people for assembly, all fixings and instructions are provided. There's a two-year manufacturer's guarantee included.

Extremely creaky
It's fine but poor quality. I wake up every morning when I hear my son get down the ladder as the bed is so creaky. The drawers get stuck together when opening and closing. Poor quality.

Great space saver
Bought this for my son who has just started secondary school and wanted a desk for him to do his homework. Having a pull out desk on this made it a great option. We’ve put the chest of drawers else where in the bedroom, leaving more space under the bed. He may be 11 but still loves a cosy den! Good clear instructions. Solid construction. No problem with squeaking after we made sure all fixings really tightened up.

No, it´s not possible to put the bookcase/chest in the bed end where the pull-out desk goes.
The chest of drawers and bookcase can be swapped if you wish as they have the same build up dimensions.

Hello there. I have checked the building instructions for the bed. The desk is added onto the base of the bed by attaching sliders. If you wish not attach the desk then this would be personal choice. I am not sure how much space there would be behind the chest of drawers and if this is a safe space to allow access to. The choice of course is yours to make, I hope this helps.

Habitat Brooklyn Ultimate Mid Sleeper Bed Frame - White 843/7819 I have checked the instruction manual to see if there are ways of changing the layout underneath and the manual is not showing anything for this other than the same picture as on the item picture. The manual does show that the 3 units are separate underneath so it may be possible to switch them but not guaranteed.

Yes, the Brooklyn chest of drawers and the bookcase are freestanding units. They can be used under the bed, but also at other places in the room too if you so wish.
Their positions can also be swapped round under the bed, e.g. to have the bookcase in the front of the bed and the chest of drawers in the bed end instead.

The bed can be reversed, but whichever way round you choose to put it, the pull-out desk must always be at the opposite end to the end the ladder is on.

The supplier has advised the following for the Brooklyn Ultimate Mid Sleeper Bed Frame - White:
"Formaldehyde free MDF don´t exist. MDF is made from wood which naturally contains formaldehyde. But the MDF we use are bought in Germany, as we sell our products in Germany as well, where they allow only half the amount of formaldehyde in MDF panels as rest of Europe since 2020. I don´t think you will find any furniture in the UK, which contains less formaldehyde. Our lacquer also complies to the strictest EU standards. As we produce cot beds our lacquer is also tested to baby testing requirements which is very strict, as the babies lick on the lacquer."
