These are nice curtains for the price. They are a linen type effect with black out lining. I gave them a light press, spent some time gathering them up and they look great. They are decent weight and do block the light out.

However, you could use curtain hooks to achieve this, the curtains weigh 1.7kg.

Bought these based on the answer given by Argos staff that the measurement was the
already pleated value.
It is NOT the pleated measurement, it is the flat panel size of one curtain. Pulling the gather cord to make the pleats makes the curtain MUCH smaller. You have the option of a very taught flat look or a gap in the middle, or buy the next size up.
Unfortunately having followed Argos advice Im stuck with a very flat look. You are not allowed to return them once unfolded
