Our Brooklyn mid sleeper bed is made from solid pine, with chunky top rails and a sturdy frame. There's a fixed ladder for easy access which can be placed at either end of the bed so you can make sure it suits the layout of your room. Mid sleepers like this are perfect for smaller bedrooms so you can reclaim the space underneath for a chest of drawers, a little reading space, or maybe a den!
To complete the room, we've got a coordinating Brooklyn furniture range that includes drawers, a desk, a bedside table, and a choice of 2 wardrobes. The whole Brooklyn collection is available in grey or white.

Good quality
I recently purchased this bed for my teenage daughter. I was looking for something that was stronger than her previous bed. Lots of space underneath for toys/bookcase etc.. the quality of the wood is top quality and the slats are surprisingly strong, this is where we have had problems in the past. I highly recommend

Great bed
Great mid sleeper we boy loves it . Only thing is instructions isn’t clear and there was screws missing and the holes in the wood wasn’t in the correct place.

Habitat Brooklyn Mid Sleeper
I bought this just over a month ago for my 6 year old. It has been a brilliant buy. He sleeps in his own bed all night now . There is plenty of den space underneath for his toys , bean bag and friends to play. He really loves it and I do to. It is easy enough for two fairly hopeless DIY'ers to put together just take the time to get everything in order, the screws are all in one bag of varying sizes and there aren't any numbers or letters on the bed pieces to indicate what's what. The only complaint would be that there aren't any pre drilled holes for the bed slats so you'll have to screw straight into the wood, which was easy for some less so for others. Prepare for a bit of hard work. Some people have commented that it creaks a lot, but we haven't found this, it creaks no more than it would getting in and out of any bunk bed. The colour is great too.

Grey Mid Sleeper
My partner and I are helpless with DIY but we managed to fit this bed within 6 hours or so! The manufacturers need to make sure the pieces of the bed are all correct sizes! When assembling, a couple pieces wouldn’t click in place and the bed itself ended up being scratched and cracked a couple of the legs of the bed - not ideal when it’s a gift for a child! The slats are absolutely horrendous to screw in but nonetheless it seems sturdy enough… overall it looks decent; nice colour, good height off the ground but very infuriating to assemble

The Brooklyn mid sleeper is supplied with its wall attachment brackets. However, the screws and other fixings you’d need are not supplied as the type you’d use would depend on the type of wall, e.g. brick, plasterboard, wood, etc.

Hello Hm92,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Brooklyn Mid Sleeper Bed Frame - Grey: ''It´s no problem to position a mattress under a mid sleeper on the floor. It´s just like sleeping under the upper bunk in a bunk bed. A bunk bed and a mid sleeper bed base are tested the same way. So, it´s just as safe sleeping under the bed base by a mid sleeper, as it is under a bed base in an upper bunk. This is tested to EN 747.''
Hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hi Jade,
I think you may be referring to the M6x100mm Connecting bolt and the M6 ø10x14mm Barrel nut.

I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A
The ladder and gap to climb onto the bed is narrow so wont last for many years as your child grows. Im incredibly dissapointed in this bed, its cheap, noisy and the ladder makes it badly designed. Id advise you to look for an alternative.
Hi Kate,
Yes, this bed is for a standard single mattress so a 10 year old boy will fit fine.
Thanks for using Q&A,
Hi Aimee
The ladder can be fitted either side but it does need to be assembled as shown on the images.
I hope this helps
